A total of 24 sets of state-of-the-art free falling style cremators with sophisticated flue gas treatment system meeting the most stringent emission control requirement applicable anywhere in the world today. Fully automatic transport and insertion system ensure security, safety and hygiene of operators of unparalleled standard. Separate combustion chambers divided by mechanical rotating valves eliminate mixing of ash totally, which remains a remote dream for other types of cremators.

Project Description:
Columbarium and Garden of Remembrance at Tsang Tsui, Tuen Mun, is an 8-storey columbarium building located on a disused Pulverized Fuel Ash lagoon, with a net operating floor area 30,000m², can provide 160,000 niches to promote green burials. In view of the huge amount of public will burn joss paper, provision of 30 joss paper burners which contains 80 kg/hour process capacity for controlling of air emissions during this Chinese ritual activity. 12 pcs photovoltaic lamp poles for energy conservation installed in the greenery 4,800m² garden of remembrance which is surrounding the columbarium. With the designated walls in GoR for the mounting of about 10,000 plaques in memory of the deceased.

Project Description:
Fire and Ambulance Services Academy, situated at Tseung Kwan 0, covers an area of 158,000 square metres, and provides 526 residential training places for both newly recruited and serving fire and ambulance personnel. The diversified and advanced simulation training facilities of the Academy enhance Fire Services Department personnel’s professional knowledge and rescue techniques in handling incidents involving railway, tunnel, vessel, aircraft and fueling facility. The specialized training facilities for high angle rescue, urban search and rescue and compartment fire behaviour training strengthen the Fire Services Department personnel's capability of tackling large-scale incidents. In addition,fire and ambulance personnel will have more opportunities to be trained together, hence improving their response and coordination capability in emergencies.

The Heung Yuen Wai (HYW) Boundary Control Point (BCP) was officially open 26 August 2020. The Liantang Port/Heung Yuen Wai Boundary Control Point is the seventh land-based control point at the Hong Kong-Shenzhen boundary. It is named HYW BCP in Hong Kong and Liantang Port in Shenzhen.
The project involves a passenger terminal building and nine other main ancillary buildings, including fire and police bases, vehicle examination buildings and fitting-out and building services installation of the border crossing pedestrian bridge up to the Hong Kong - Shenzhen administrative boundary. The total floor area is approximately 157,400 sqm.

Project Description:
The Mid-Levels and Central Escalator Link is the world’s longest escalator system and was opened to the public in 1993. It is about 800 metres long and consists of 20 escalators and three travelators, which provide an economical and convenient direct route between Conduit Road in the Mid-Levels and Central. More than 36,000 commuters use it every day. The link not only reduces the traveling time between the Mid-levels and Central but also reduces vehicle traffic and thus improves air quality.

A lot of special systems have been provided to meet maintenance needs. These include the Ma On Shan Signaling & Train Control System Traction Power & Overhead Line System Integrated Control & Communication System, Radio System, Station & Depot Communication System, Automatic Revenue Collection & Electronic Access Control System, Lift System, Electro-motive Unit System, Train Wash Plant, Environmental Control System, Electrical System, Building Automation System, Fire Services System, Plumbing & Drainage System, Compressed Air System and Town Gas Supply System.

The station consists of Lower Platform, Mezzanine, Upper Platform, Concourse, Ground and Roof Level, it gives Total GFA approximate 21,000m².
